End Turn with a +800bc credit, and lose 64 billion billion credits

Well my game was going fine, I had just hit about 1500gc income at my peak I think, and then suddenly I hit end turn (which happened to be on my auto-saved turn) and look at my money after trying to build a starbase, and I have -64billion bc. I kept playing for about 20 minutes after, trying to find a way to resolve my issue but... this bug just killed me =(

That happens sometimes, ever since version 1.0. It is so random an occurrence I doubt it will ever be fixed.

You also have a previous auto saved game (a backup of the auto-saved game when the program auto-saves), so you can go back to that (if you haven't played so long as to overwrite it with the bugged auto-save.

If not, you are out of luck with this game. There is no way you could ever dig yourself out of that hole, well, bottomless pit.

You should also manually save your game periodically with a unique filename. It might just save you some frustration.

Yeah, I discovered the previous-auto-save feature after the fact. Had I noticed the previous-auto-save feature at first, I think i'd have been fine heh. Ah well. It's not so bad for a small game but a Gigantic map, lol well, you know how it is.
