Need help with Animations in WB/SS

Hi folks,
I am trying to fool around with a few animation for a new WindowBlind. I am having a bit of trouble. I have created a simple StartPanelUserPane with a small area of it containing an Animation. Its only 5 frames total. It plays ok, but at the end of each loop, the entire UserPane blinks black. In SS I have it set like this:

Frame Count 5
Animation Rate 200
First frame on mouse enter 1
First frame on mouse over 1
Last frame on mouse over 5
Last frame on mouse leave 5
Mouse exit mode Stop animating immediately
Delay between animation 0
Loop only once Disabled

I am really not sure what I am doing wrong and could use some help. Anyone familiar with these settings? I just want it to play thru the frames, a constant loop when the StartPanel is up, but umm... without the extra black frame
Thanks in advance. I appreciate any help.

Jason

You have to use an exta frame at the end and change your frame count to six, keep the rest of the settings the same and all should be fine

Actually, I think its backwards. The frame count should be the true frame count. The last frame is suppose to be one less. The frame count is correct at five. But, the last frame should be four.

hmmm... not sure Chas. I'll fool around to see if your right. I think I understand what your saying, although its kinda the same thing except for the last frame in the count and i've got it working. But thanx.

I'm right. Open Christmas Time, Check the frame count on the image, and the frames count that Mormegil set, then check the last frame he used. He's the master.

Yes you are and so am I, I said for him to add an extra frame to his image, making 6 total. Then use the settings he already had there, just change the first number to 6.
6
200
1
1
5
5
stop
0
disabled

We said the same thing, just in a different way, easier to understand shall we say
The end result was the same, just like the Master's I have learned quite a bit from Mormegil, by slicing and dicing his skins, along with countless others...

Sorry Chas, but no matter how many times I read what you said in #5, it made no sense to me.
The frame count should be the true frame count. The last frame is suppose to be one less. The frame count is correct at five. But, the last frame should be four.
How can the true frame count be 5 if there are only 4 frames. Yes, you both said essentially the same thing, but Bones explained what otherwise sounds like gibberish.

Last frame on mouse over 5 Last frame on mouse leave 5

See the last frame?

The true frame count is the number of frames that actually exist in the image. Not, just any number that one sets it too.

I have no enemies. But, I could use more friends.

Correct me if I am wrong. Don't criticize me, just to try to make me look bad. That's not nice and it doesn't help or promote the community.

Where do you see four frames total?
'nuff said. Come on, Koasati, lets be friends.
