SkinStudio or Stylebuilder?

I thought I read somewhere that a future edition of SkinStudio would allow exporting as a Visual Style rather than using Windowblinds...or something to that effect

Is that true?

I honestly doubt that.

I think it might be Importing Visual styles

mmm...well maybe if you could import and edit Visual Styles you could export too? I swear I read something...maybe in the news...Damn I can't remember.

I seriously think I am gonna try doing a VS rather than a blind...Just to see how much exposure one could possibly get

Importing Visual Styles and exporting as WB-skin via Universal Skin Format is possible.

Why what's up?...I'm definitely missing something here

In short : Because the hack of uxtheme.dll that is provided with StyleXP or standalone might go obsolete with the next Service Pack of XP or just is not possible anymore with Longhorn as it might use another method of skinning. This will not happen with WB, as it has it's own engine and will be most definetely ready for new things to come from Microsoft.
