Famed icon designer, Paul Boyer, who created the Orion icons suite 2 years ago has been hard at work at creating follow-up to it that would live up the to high expectations his work always generates.

We think he's succeeded with the Utopia icons suite. When applied, it changes over ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY of your Windows icons. And it comes in 4 different colors as well.

It's only $9.95 (just a bit over a penny per icon). It's well worth it and looks fantastic on your desktop. We'll be highlighting screenshots that make use of these icons in the coming days.

Paul Boyer is like a good wine, he gets better with age. The new Utopia Icons are beyond excellent. The detail on these icons is incredible.

Yeah, these are just plain awesome. Been using them for a little over a week now and just don't think I'll ever be switching to another set for awhile.

Coincidentally, I'm conducting a performance of 'Utopia Limited' - an operetta by Gilbert and Sullivan - next week. (Tickets are still available if you're in the Blackpool area, north-west England)

Oh, and nice icons as well Paul! (you want a ticket?)

Fantastic icons - but I was surprised that, while there's an icon for Publisher documents, there isn't a main application icon for Publisher to round out the MS Office suite.
