So, about DA...

So, about DA...

I've recently started to LOVE DA.

Before I go through and tweek my build and such, I wanted to get feedback from other DA players.

So, what do you DA guys have to say about strategy with this monster? :D

That's the exact reason I hate starcraft.

The reason they have to do that is because of a horrible interface. Starcraft 2 had people bitching about being able to set waypoints for workers to immediate go mine after being made, for being able to select unlimited units, for workers to automatically distribute to mineral patches, etc.

The community is retarded because they want the game to be harder for the wrong reasons.

SupCom is a fantastic example of how an interface for a present day game should work. You don't need to click 1,000 times a minute to get shit done because of all the automation, leaving the player open to spend his time doing things that matter, rather then stupid mundane tasks that artificially make the game harder.

I only made that statement because if Split was serious when he said, "That was the most inane micro I have ever seen" made me think you have really not seen much outside of DG than. DG has 1 unit (unless your a gen) to manage. Other RTS games can have hundreds at times that need your attention.

Just making my point of why I have SC2.

And no strat zoom, teh fux?!

Oh, btw, I'm bored at work today. Everyone upload replays! There haven't been any new ones in forever. Go crazy today, give Teseer something to do! :D

SC2 uses the lame zoom that WC3 did, it's totally pointless. I'm preparing some replays for you Teseer :)

I've seen SC2 micro, and nine times out of ten all they're doing is pointless click spamming.  SC1 has pointless micro as Teseer pointed out. I'd say microing so that you can auto attack and back up without getting hit requires a lot of skill and it's pretty intensive micro, especially for Demigod.

HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO

Two DAs twenty yards apart use shadow swap on one another. Regardless of who clicked first, they enter each other's range at precisely the same moment and begin casting. What happens next? Both swaps complete at the same time. Shadow swap changes place and interrupts, so would they interrupt each other? Would there be a double swap which essentially does nothing. I've strangely never seen this in a game. Probably because no one plays DA, so having 2 is very unlikely.
