A few mounths ago my comp and my external drive died on me ! But I don't quit easaly ! I searched and asked questions until I found a solution. Had to buy a new comp in the meantime . Kewl what you can find when you ar serching for help !!! There is a wonderful program called TestDisk that saved my harddrive on my old tower and then it rebooted my F drive ( WD My Book ) The link is this http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/TestDisk Just wanted to share and yes my pics are fine for the ones who have tried other programs. Ok so now I have windows 7 and not loving it so far !!!!! !Back at cha soon !!!
I love Windows 7, I actually think it's the best OS I have had from Microsoft. There are a couple of things I would like to get fixed but otherwise it works fantastic.
I hope I can say the same soon !
When win 7 came out I didn't liked them and I had all sorts of problems. But now when there was enough time 4 companies to get all drivers to work properly i wouldn't replace them.
I was wondering about tht part but I am thankful just to get the info off of my old tower and WD ext. drive. But yes now what to learn first Windows 7 or play with a blind! Windows 7 I guess !
Anyone know how to ad a second WD Book on this windows 7 ?
I saw the title, and wondered - who still has a floppy drive (A: drive)???
Looks like a greet tool. Thanks for the link. I shall try it out when disaster strikes next.
That tool was a life saver for me. I was really begining to make myself sick over all of the data. At least now I can stuff My Book into my tower and put my second one on a shelf.
