Stargate SG-1 (I NEED YOU)

I really don't know how to star this.

It is no secrecy that vStyler is working on a magnificent skin which has already been named "A Far Beyond masterpiece".  I, myself, would go as far to call it "Beyond fantastic".  You, on the other hand, have already called it "Beauty At Its Best". That extremely great because we are all agreed.

Now, without delaying this magnificent project, I'd like too see...(Well, I'm getting very excited....) :w00t:

Okay, there is this superb skin by vStyler named "Stargate SG-1". You rarely come across a great skin of that caliber, unless you check his work or a limited few. (Well, I'm getting very excited....) :w00t:

I'm speaking for over 20 million people and I'd like you to be on that list in wishing and begging for a Windows 7 update :w00t:

 

I did not directly try to contact him regarding his willingness to update the skin o support Windows 7 as I'm at work. Now I just hope he hears yours  too :w00t: :thumbsup:

Precisely,I him board write yesterday to ask him for s' amongst other things; it intended to make an update of stargate SG-1 for Vista and 7.J' its answer waits.

This skin is Vista ready. It only needs to be updated to support Windows 7 lol

you've got your work cut out for you I think...especially with all the other updates in the wings....but...well worth a prod......the blind is a Masterclass in skinning...

still works perfectly for me in XP though...  :D

I agree with you though...would love to see it updated, it's a superb skin in all it's detail and design...and remarkable animations.....just not sure the start menu would translate well with it's complexity....

oh, positive :P

 

It's highly unlikely this will ever be updated for 7 as all the animations would have to be reworked from scratch. This method of animating is not supported in modern OS's

I was completely wrong, the animations do work, they still work differently, but they do work.

Everyone can gather round and let me know how big i was to admit it now :w00t:

 

I think i last looked early in vista and it was borked, seems to be ok on 7.

 

HAving said that there are a lot of other borkingtons that would drastically change the original skin on 7.

 

I may revisit it sometime soon and try Sevenize it... but don't hold me to it :smitten:
