That'll teach me to stay uninformed
It has all the functionality of the older versions, is a little faster, and the new features work fine, BUT... All they did was incorporate features that already can be found elsewhere to it (like Text on a path), and make things easier for design newbies (Like easy color match). There isn't any breath taking Adobe innovation (like the the Healing Brush was when 7.0 came out). This is a good release, but like many reviews said, "Photoshop 7.5 at best". It's okay though, it's certainly more useful and not any worse than 7.0, and may be a worthy upgrade but is NOT worth purchasing full version. My real hopes in CS lay in Illustrator (which now is supposed to have Adobe Dimensions' 3D funcionality incorporated), and GoLive (which, if is good enough, can replace my Dreamweaver and help me lose Macromedia). I have yet to try those two.
