WC Site Update – April 29th

Hi folks!  We had a couple of site updates today that we wanted to let you know about.  This has already been discussed in the WC 2010 forum, but since everyone doesn’t read the forums I wanted to give a quick update in the news.

Todays update:

  • Skins submitted by Journeyman and above should go through automatic moderation now.
  • Fixed an upload resizing issue.
  • Master skinners have access to a new reports page.
  • The new “My Skins” page is up and now should show much more detail about your skins.

If you run into any issues with the above, or any other issues, please report them in the WinCustomize 2010 forum area.

Yeah quite annoying that the line breaks weren't showing up, so I try to fix it, had no idea it would throw it back into moderation. x_x

Especially if your rank allows that it shouldn't go through moderation to begin with.

Hopefully someone can help I uploaded this skin...https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/desktopx_objects/4553/ during the site issues it is still there but not in the gallery or on my skins list . Not sure what to do!Thank you !Harley

Some people are asking about the monthly promotion list ..... may be an idea to start a monthly demotion list.

These issues with the changeover to the new WC site take time and a little patience goes a long way.

I wonder how many people realize you can rate 1/2 stars now? I didn't know it, until my mouse accidentally paused on a star and a number tooltip popped up. Hhmmm...

It's not actually 1/2 a star. Think of it as 1 to 10...each half of the star equals 1. If you hover over the stars move your cursor to the left and right of it and you'll see 1-2 on one star 3-4 on the next and so on. ;)

The 1/2 star was more of a reference, so people that may not know, would understand. Most of us get that it's 1-10 now. :thumbsup:
