Another Ripping Site

Bebop/Boopish (skinartistry2.com) has come across another site that has posted unauthorized works from this site and others. She found some WB skins; I looked around some more and found the Vox IP by skinhit. There are also dreamscenes, wallpapers and  other things there.

 

Some of the WB skins are:

Vienna3

Azenis

Whitefire

Crystalline

Azkaban

 

The site is called (link removed by WC Moderator). They have this disclaimer:  

"All the content of our site not originally orginated by us,are taken from other websites. And we think that content is not fully copyrighted and Proper credit is already given where it is needed.if you are the real owner of the any content please let us know by an email from contact page (link removed by WC Moderator) -us We will remove that immediately or Give proper credit.

Boopish had alerted me yesterday that one of my blinds was there...I went to the site, and sure enough, Amphitrite was there. 

When I clicked on the contact link to tell them to remove my blind, I picked up a nasty piece of something, but, fortunately, my anti-virus software caught it and removed it immediately.

Anyway, I sent the note, and I received a reply fairly quickly.  He said he got the stuff from "somewhere" over a year ago, but couldn't remember where, so he had no way to contact any of the authors of the skins....yea...right!  But he did remove the blind.

Just a heads up about a possibly un-safe site.....

Reports of rip sites are always best handled by PM'ing a WC Admin or Moderator with the information. Posting links to the rip sites here is not recommended.

It would be best to contact Island_Dog, Jafo or one of the Moderators to have this taken care of. I have forwarded this on to Jafo.

If one of those skins are yours, then PM a mod and they will give you the address to check it out.

Also, take note of Jafo's thread on what to send them to have your works removed if you wish.
