in attempting to upload a blind I received this error notice.
I turned on flash for the upload but it is version 10 (don't know if this is still a problem)
suggestions?
Try both https://www.wincustomize.com/upload2.aspx and https://www.wincustomize.com/upload.aspx sites and both browsers MSIE and FF don't worry about absence of progress bar or black blank page in FireFox. Flash 9 is better but one of the 4 possibilities works for me normally, new uploads coming soon too.

**edit** I guess it will have to wait. hope it's not a flash 10 issue. I only have IE8 and both link will not alliow me to "browse" files. clicking on the button does nothing.
Are you uploading the preview in .gif format?
If so, please use .jpg instead, as .gif is not supported.
I do know that, it is a jpg. I also received the same error notice when cancelling the upload and had to shut down ie8 from the task manager.
they make more than one?
I just recently upgraded to win7 which updated my flash to version 10 and my browser to ie8 (buttfaces, I wanted neither) anyway, yes, that is probably what I'll have to do.
