Things I've observed about 0.88 (or 0.87 in the about box as mentioned above):
* The minimize screenshot is a bit more stable but still gives black boxes sometimes.
* Still no way to set a Working Directory in OD so many games won't launch properly.
* The dock in Auto Hide mode no longer pops out when you have a window maximized (big ouch! > ).
* The new memory usage is MUCH improved!

Overall, it's a good upgrade unless you use maximized windows and auto-hide. Hopefully, SD will continue development on OD.

Hrm, after playing around with it a bit more the problem with auto hide seems to occur on windows that are full screen in size but not actually "maximized". It's still a bit awkward.

I don't use OD to launch games, but I have no problem with other apps that want a working directory. Instead of referencing the EXE in the dock item properties, I use the Start menu shortcut to the app. If the LNK doesn't list a working directory, putting in the LNK fixes it.

I know it seems obvious and overly simple, but did you try that?

Thanks Floyd. It seems like an unnecessary step to add a shortcut to solve the launch problem. I guess I'm just spoiled by Y'z Dock which has the Working Directory feature built in.

yeh, it seems as if it wouldn't be too hard to add that to OD. Just the same, it's a small price to pay, as I think OD looks better, and it definitely runs better/faster on my machine.

As a person who *does* use autohide and maximized windows, is there any way I can go back to .7 until this bug is fixed? I think I saved over my old copy of OD.;

Hmm -- it turns out the autohide will appear over maximized windows, if you hold down on the left mouse button and drag off the screen. Then the dock appears and you can release the button.
Strange... but at least I can use the dock now.
