AIMutation!

545 Studios has created AIMutation, a freeware skinning program for AIM. AIMutation is currently in beta form, but I have had no issues with it.

Current release is .1 beta, but .2 beta is due this weekend. As far as I know, .2 beta will also skin msg windows, as .1 doesn't.

Tutorials of how to skin will be up shortly also.
