I love the NVIDIA skin, treetog is amazing. I love all of his skins, search for him on this site if you just got windowsblinds.. I can't say I like the asylum one too much though, the other one is pretty good too. Thanks for reporting these koop!!

Actually, thanks should go to John Malley, marketing director of BFG Tech, and to Paula Kim of NVIDIA. If you enjoy the skins and are looking for a new video card, you might think about supporting the companies that made it possible.

Screenshots were posted in an earlier article. To see a preview of MikeB's skins please visit http://www.skinsmith.com/ and to see a preview of Treetog's skin, visit http://www.pixtudio.com/

is this the shareware version of windowblinds? Will it overwrite the full version? I'd just like to check the skins out.

Thornz, see Koop's post above. It'll only install the skins if you already have Windowblinds installed.

Why no Win 2000 support?

What do you mean by no Win2K support? It should work on Win2K as well as WinXP

Hi,

After installing this (i'm an OD subscriber so i have installed WB 3.4) software / skins and applying one of the skins, windows almost locked up. Nothing wasn't skinned anymore and i had to reset my computer. After starting up again Object Bar wasn't starting up (the option run objectbar automatically at startup wasn't checked anymore). Also no skin wasn't selected anymore in the display options and webshots was also disabled. Everything is running now again after configuring everyhting again. Anyone else has had this kind of problems. This is one WindowXP.

Chao,

Chris

Well, I downloaded it. It didn't change anything I had already had. It just gave me the new skins. They are really cool. I think it was worth it. If you have Cable like me. It won't even take a minute.

The installer says that it only works for Windows XP. I've already got WB 3.5 on here, but the installer doesn't even bother to check for that. It IMMEDIATELY says that since I'm not running XP, I'm SOL.

These skins are sweet! Hey, has anyone had any problems on wb 4 with the 2 skins that Mike B did? On wb 3.5 they work fine, on wb 4 the center portion of the taskbar and parts of the quick launch bars are "missing". I was just curious if I was the only one or if others had the same problem too on wb 4.

I had the same problem with the missing portions of the task bar and not just only with Mike B's skins but with others as well. I might just have to switch back to WB 3.5
