Mouse clicks do not work

Help me before I go mad

One of the great attractions of Window Blinds is the ability to choose what mouse clicks do on the title bar. I like double click to make the window "always on top", and left click to roll up the window into the title bar.

This has always been a problem. With WindowBlinds 6 on XP, it usually worked if I changed the "per Pixel" setting. On WIndows 7 with WindowBlinds 7 it does not work at all. Except with one skin- Sabertooth.

There are many lovlier styles, inclding Aero basic, but none of them will respond to the mouse clicks I have chosen. It drives me mad using a calculator which disappears each time I copy a number into a program.

Why does this not work? How do I make it work? Or are there any other skins that will work? I am not happy with a choice of one!

And by the way, why on earth have Microsoft left it to Stardock to implement such an obviously useful facility?

These options are not available currently for UIS 0 skins (i.e. Aero Colors, Metals, Woods, etc.)  Sabertooth is a UIS 2 skins, so this works. Does it also work for you with the included Sublime and Aero Metal (note no "s" at the end) skins?  These are also UIS 2.

Yes Sublime does work as well. You obviously have the answer.

Mind you I could not find Aero Metal (no "s"), only Metals.

Still now I know what to look for.

It's me again. Having gone fore a skin search, I realise I have no idea how to find UIS 2 skins.

How do I find them?

The vast majority of skins on WC are in UIS2/Per pixel format.  There are very few UIS0 skins on the site right now as they are so new.

Now I am confused. Most skins that come with the latest WindowBlinds do not work for my problem, and Shirley said that Aero Colours etc were not UIS2, but that Sabretooth was. Surely therefore the latest skins are not necessarily UIS2. Furthermore when searching for skins, they never state if they are UIS 2 or not.

Maybe I am just unlucky, but nothing I have downloaded today works. Clearly a "UIS 2" filter is what I need when searching for skins, but I can see no way of adding one.

Any ideas?

Have you tried any other configuration or action. Like dbl-clicking to roll up instead.

No it did not work. However having tried it, and put it back as before, I now find that all the skins that came with WB7 work fine (except the aero skins).

Computers eh?

Anyway thanks. The problem is now solved, even though I have no idea why.
