Unclean Beast UB Rage Thread

!!!CAN U FEEL THE RAGE!!!

strongest early game

strongest mid game

strongest late game

of all demigods

WTFFFFFFFFFFFF IZ BALANCE?!?

unstoppable in melee range by any demigod

fastest move speed in game so once in melee range, you won't escape

crazy mad super dps!1!

almost highest base stats in game

EVEN IF YOU KILL ONE REPEATEDLY EARLY GAME, HE WILL GET YOU IN THE END WITH HIS OP-NESS, NO MATTER HOW PRO YOU ARE...!

Spit - massive dps and he is able to add auto-attack dmg to that as well
Ooze - arguably the most overpowered ability in the game, totally nullifies auto attack damage of enemy team, and deals massive AoE dmg, again whilst you can still auto-attack
Acclimation - the icing on the cake, makes him invincible lvl 15+

wtb some nerfage to all 3 of these bad boys

oh yeah and he can stun as well to prevent any escape with tp, sometimes you can fake cast the bastards but usually dps is so high by the time you cancel, eat the stun, and cast again, U R TOASTED

WTFBBQ QQ QQ QQ

Alright so I watched that, following you Shake and got a few things to say.

First, you really didn't have any major flaws in your playstyle so don't take this like I think you are a poor player, esp just from this replay.

Your Sedna was the weakest player on your team, and she did a Panther build, which is the proper build to do against a 2x UB combo, for sure. However, she purchased the /vast/ majority of citadel upgrades. Now, Panther builds are really cheap builds so that isn't a huge issue.

However, your team just hit WS3 and you have 1700 gold and a health pot. You didn't get currency. Sedna ended up getting it a few minutes later and also she ended up dying. If she hadn't had to purchase cur at that time she would have had a little more hp/mana and possibley would have survived. Additionally, your team would have gotten roughly a 750 gold advantage.

Same thing with catapults. You purchase Narmoth's Ring instead. Then you buy Hurlington's.

Now, you were getting kills and so that justifies you 'awesome' kit. However, your Sedna was really stuggling and feeding kills. If you had given up half of your kills such that the Sedna died half as much simply by being less of a 'bamf'... well you may have won.

There were a few times you could have saved her as well it was unfortunante you either weren't watching the map or you decided she was not worth saving, esp since the Oak repeatably ported and was really on the ball when it came to helping allies.

You burnt your batswarms a few times killing minions while enemy demigods were nearby and you didn't use bite/mist always effectively (biting an opponent chasing a friendly when you could have, for example) but both of those can be explained by just imperfect map awareness.

Anyway, that Sed certainly lost that game for you, sadly. But that has little to do with UB being OP. Rather Sed just being underequipped and not knowing how to deal with a UB very well.

and Shiro, I was actually surprised at your poor performance this game. I was suprised, honestly. Figured it was just you having a bad day ;)

I didn't buy currency 1 because Sedna had just said in chat "I'm gonna buy currency for teh team!!1!"

I bought hungarlings cos I decided we were a mana heavy team and thought it would be useful in team fights, and again someone else said "I'll buy cats" so I left them to it.

I know it wasn't flawless gameplay, I hardly ever play as LE, just uploaded the game cos I thought it really was a must see cos of the crazy close mid-game skirmishes. The in-game chat was hilarious, too bad it isn't on replays xD
I tried to save Sedna a few times but arrived just a bit too late which was annoying (after spamming b b b b b b in chat lols).

Had a lot of fun in all the "all-random" games I played today, GG's.

Sorry for uploading replay Shiro_Sol but hey at least you won haha. I remember when someone (RAWR I think) uploaded a replay of me getting my ass handed to me on my hammer rook back in the day which was annoying. Died early to a spit DoT on the way back to base because we lost control of hp flag QQ.

Oak and LE have no right to complain about the OPness of UB. Just my 2c...

How counter UB ??? Shield from oak and qot, Mist, bite, bat, heal, mines lvl 10, etc ??? Seriously ub is a good demigod but an easy demigod to play like erebus. Split+ooze+graps.....wow so hard to play. If u fight a ub in 1 vs 1...if u have a weak demigod, just buy run speed item and hit and run. Just find a way to counter a ub ;p. Every demigod can be countered.

ub buys wand of speed and becomes the fastest demigod on the map, so no hit and run for you.

there is no counter vs this demigod except to never engage in combat.

fastest move speed, highest dps and highest effective health from lvl 1 till 20.

Not true, he JUST gave u a list of counters, and your not listening and whining.

I play UB a lot, and lately get raped by every who counters my anus

Sedna has the least to complain about she just heals of spit straight away

Just because something CAN be countered does not mean it is balanced.

Beast is OP, everybody knows that. Simple.

Tower rook can counter him directly from 1-15. Oak does well after level 8 or so if he penitence kites well. Frost TB does okay if he uses Deep Freeze at the start of every fight so UB can only spit once every 15 seconsds. A UB with a wand isn't going to be able to carry the standard lock+port+sigil combo so there are drawbacks to it.

UB is probably overpowered anyway, but he's certainly not unstoppable if you play well.

Yes, overpowered. As erebus and oak too. And what then? stop to discover america please! Everybody of our community knows that fact. Developers know. Just waiting for balance. IMO no need to nerf ub, just make stronger ranged DGs. TB, QoT and reg are supposed to counter ooze but they`re too weak

I just had a game with TB(Me) TB(Ragarth) and DA(Falkwind) vs. UB, Sedna, Da and we won ^.^

Grasp is bullshit. It's prolly the best stun allaround(since it costs almost nothing in skillpoints) and has no stun immunity, seriously wtf?

I think it definitely needs stun immunity, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's the best. It requires the smallest investment to be useful, but it's hard to say it's better than high rank AoE stuns.

The stun lasts 2 full seconds, which is it's own damage plus two picks of spit and ooze. Things like these add up, especially as an end to a UB combo.

I really don't like UB, BUT!

When I'm playing and it turns out the person who picked him...isn't very good, as long as he spits a bunch, he helps enough at the start to not totally screw you over. He may not be the best or most dependable, but as long he spits a bunch (and how hard is it to spit?) and foul grasps every now and then, he helps.

Just what I notice from games I've played.
