Just drag that folder's shortcut or the folder into objectdock.
is there a way to make the folder shortcut on the dock act like a folder?
what i mean is i want to be able to drag a file from windows onto the folder on the dock and the file go into it...
simmilar to when you put something in the recycling bin on the dock...
Currently, when you add a folder to the dock it is treated as a shortcut. You can click on the folder/shortcut to open the folder in an explorer window and add the file to the folder, but there isn't direct drag&drop support.
hmmm yeah, thats unfortunate... it would be great to have that ability... i really hope that they add this funtionality...
i have several folder shortcuts on my desktop that i use to drag files into to sort them out and it would be nice to clean up using a dock of folders with drag-n-drop support.. please please add this
also... where is the 64bit love... so sad that this is missing... tray? where is it?
Pyro, ObjectDock 2.0 will add 64-bit functionality. There's no word on final release date yet, though.
yeah too bad thats a new verison (buy again) im guessing that they wont be adding it to 1.9?
but do you know if they will add drag and drop to folders for 2.0? because that would be awesome...
here's what i do to accomplish similar to what sorn_giggle's asking... if i'm understanding correctly, that is...
(by the way, I had to send my laptop off for fixing, and the user name they used to make sure its working was 'test,' I didn't feel like customizing it.)
i made two folders in a "C:\users\test\Shortcuts" folder, one named "More Shortcuts," the other "Folder Shortcuts." in objectdock, i created two shortcuts, one points to "C:\users\test\Shortcuts\More Shortcuts" the other "C:\users\test\Shortcuts\Folder Shortcuts." when you click on the icons in objectdock, it brings up the shortcuts in those folders, as well as direct access to that folder, as you can see with this screen shot:

to this extent, drag and drop does work... once you open that folder.
i've got two days of objectdock under my belt, i just found it. AWESOME program!!
