I created these taskbars and their respective (animated) start buttons completely from scratch using CS2. Enjoy!. btw: critique/comments appreciated.  :grin:

Not bad...but the one thing I wish skinners would get away from is the windows flag image. Every skin I have that had that got modded. ;)

"......not sure what I would use them for." Not sure what you meant by that. They were designed to be used in WindowBlinds/Skinstudio to aesthetically customize your PC experience. Each button is to be used with its corresponding taskbar.

Ortizlgnd...I like the stuff you're showing....especially the taskbar in response #6. The button...I have to agree with WebGizmos...the MS flag is blahdom.

Thanks, I really appreciate that.

And yeah, I know the flag is kind of old news, but I guess my reason for adding it is because whereas, most others simply use the official MS flag image in their skins, I draw my own variant designs of it completely from scratch.... Not as easy as it seems. For instance, see the MS flag in the background in reply #6? I created that multi-level, Carbon and glass design. So I was just trying to show any Microsoft reps that may be looking at these forums my skills with their brand. Hopefully, it'll land me a job. :erk:

If that's what you're looking for, Ortizlgnd....take a look at Pixar and Disney as well as Industrial Light and Magic.

MS just laid off a bunch of folks.

What I meant was I wouldn't use them myself to change a skins taskbar. But's a great idea! I tinker around with stuff like the start buttons myself.

That's the reason why I purchased Windowblinds and SkinStudio -- to aesthetically personalize my PC. The original taskbars, buttons, etc. for both Windows and OSX are so dull.
