Ive been getting stomped consistently by ooze ub's (with sigils) as assassin erubus.
How are you guys countering?
Try a minions build with Horn of battle. UB wont be able to kill ur minions....use mist too.

this depends what level we're talking about. I dont usually put ooze into effect until level 14+ when i have the regen items and health to maintain. I play a semi-hybrid ooze UB and i know if im playing against skilled LE, neither one of us will die. Really good LE will have advantage over time due to mist (to negate spit) & bat. I only die when top LE player catches me over extended and alone.
