Deskscapes Free version questions

I've just got a new system up and running:

i7 x58 classified, 6bg ram, intel x25-m 80 gb, 4850 hd 1gb gddr, everything runs great, installed Deskscapes free version until i decide on OD or just components of it. Deskscapes seems to run well, but the "effects" selections dont match up to what is actually highlited when i choose one, so you can't be sure what you are choosing is actually the one selected, sometimes i change backgrounds in DS and a completely (seems to be) random effect will load with it. I want to upgrade, but wont if its buggy, or lacking in what you can do as opposed to what its "supposed" to do.

Any suggestions ?

Effects are saved on a per dream basis.

So if you set effect X on one dream if you switch back to that dream it will use that effect.

Whatever shows in the preview will be what will be applied to your system if you click the apply changes button.
