Start Menu Shadow

For some reason when I disable "Hide shadow on startmenu" in skinstudio the shadow refuses to show. This only applies to skins where I have specified a Start Button "Glow" image.

Also, when the shadow DOES appear, it is square like in classic, when I turn the DWM off it changes to a rounded shadow.
