Popup adds on main site are annoying as hell. Why does the site think they are going to sell something by harassing the browsers to the point of just leaving the page? And generally, most people will develop resentment to any products that are spammed or interfere with the browsing experience by physically having to close an offending window repeatedly in order to read the page.

Advertising is generally overcome by logging in as a member and subscribing to the site/s ...;)

This is not true, i log on and even have the popup blocker set to high. Apparently the flash popups are not detected. They have devised a way to force advertizing on browsers in the most annoying way possible.

Registered WC subscribers shouldnt see popups, you might delet all cookies etc for WC in your browser and relog in.

Ok, I see now that a Subscriber is different than just being registered. However I've been regestered for over 5 years and only recently have have noticed the nag adds. But nevermind. thanks for the replys
