Serial number retrieval?

I purchased WindowBlinds 7 for a special upgrade price 6 hours ago, paid through paypal, the payment has already been confirmed.

How long does it usually take to receive a serial number?

Apart from that I am very concerned with this whole procedure of installation and activation - why do I have to download and install additional software in order to activate one single application? I already regret what I did and this will be the last time I paid for something from Stardock.

I'd also advise saving that link.

You need "Impulse" to download and update your software. There's also a chat room there (under community) where folks can sometimes help with problems which occasionally arise.

As for the last sentence...I'd edit it. Give Impulse a chance. It works quite well.

Although Paypal may have confirmed payment it may still take a little while... payment confirmation, from my experience, means that they have received the funds.  It may take a while after that to deposit them to Stardock.  However, when Stardock's account it credited you will receive an email with the information required to install your software.

There is no need for concern, and the additional software (Impulse) is not just to install and activate one application.  You are entitled to free updates for Windowblinds for the duration of your subscription, Impulse downloads and applies those updates, plus much, much more.  Impulse also has a built-in browser which gives you access to the community forums, where you may seek help and/or ideas for your software, or merely to socialise with like-minded persons. 

Also, Impulse has a store facility from which you can purchase numerous games, security and office applications, useful tools for your PC.  Impulse is a multi-purpose platform that will keep your purchase updated and in tip-tip condition... it is not just a single application installer.
