great suite, one problem, when unzipping i get an error message regarding the iconpackager theme. Seems the file is corrupt. Tried with both WinRAR and WinZip as well as universal extractor all give the same file corrupt error message. :)

You're all really hitting my sweet spots with these skins. Nice indeed! :HOT:

I know it's not but could this be.....a lot like Xaphire? That was a skin by jjying. Oh well I'll just use the Xaphire skin anyway. Reminds me of Zune too. There's more to it than that, I know but...... <_<

I think the idea may be similar to Xaphire but the executions of each are completely different. Looks like a nice suite and yet again great to see these being caught up on. Thanks Stardock ;)

Coolish Skin Stardock. CarGuy's Starburst goes great with it. Does anybody know how I can import the WB skin into WB7? In WB7 it is listed as unknown, it doesn't display any graphics in the preview, and WB7 won't let me apply the skin. All wiyht. Rho sritched mg kegtops awound?

The flames are the same and so are the colors. Seems like they are re-cycling. What's to get excited?

How are they going to recycle a Ying theme when Xapphire wasn't a SD skin ?

This is a 'firey' skin, so was Xapphire.. thats about where the similarity ends really...

..each have their own style and merit.

In any event, as much as I and other skinners do our best to be original with every skin, short of tentacles or tribal art etc hanging off the frames and start menu. most ideas have been done or tried before, a certain amount of idea recycling is unavoidable, there are only so many ways to make a rectangle look different before you come full circle, especially when taking into account that folks want to maintain ease and length of use.

give em a break  :P

Its a tad different to mixing and matching from a million different elements to create a screenshot.

Much as I love the community snipers  :sun:

Well I wasn't trying to discount anyone elses opinion. Just giving my own. And I wasn't getting excited about it, just said it was nice.

But really when I look at

and

side by side I see the similarity of the flames but used in different postions and ways in each blind and other than that see completely different styles of blinds. But that's just my opinion.

Although I would have to say if I wanted to go back to a flamed setup I would probably look at how this new IP will look put together with the Xaphire blind.  ;)
