Victory Conditions

I'm new at this and have just bought this game. The updated manual I downloaded from your website says there are 4 different victory conditions but my game only has 3 (technology, cultural, and alliance) in the beginning screen. Please help, as I am totally confused.

Because the fourth option, military conquest, is always on. The last one standing always wins.

The other is military victory. There is no button because it can't be disabled. :)

Yeah, would not make much sense if you'd not win the game when beating everyone else... however, Alliance victory is the easiest to achieve in my opinion.
