Citadel Upgrade Suggestion

An upgrade that makes flags more resistant to capture by increasing the time it takes for an enemy to get them to neutral (since it wouldn't make sense for it to take more time for the enemy to capture a neutral flag).  This would probably make capture locks even more powerful, so those should be nerfed or (preferrably, imo) removed completely.

as you said... capture locks would be OP in this sort of circumstance. I do like the idea though. If this were to be implemented in the game capture locks would need to have a longer cooldown than its time of effect.

... so why not a citadel upgrade that makes you get flags faster to neutral and faster to your side.

It's been discussed in a different thread why longer cooldown isn't a very good solution: you just have to coordinate with your teammates for the re-locking.  There's other ways to nerf capture locks, like making them uncastable when the flag is contested or making flags immune to capture locks for some period of time after they were locked.

I have a bunch of interesting ideas.... how abotu there is also another upgrade that lessens the power of capture locks on flags and there could be a final def upgrade or this upgrade could require the cap lock resist and longer time to cap AND final def upgrade. It could make two very long range high burst damage towers at the flags location. It would stop damd LE's ninja's and generally add to the total def of ur base. It would have to be really expensive though:( (is my idea good?)
