I downloaded 2 screen savers last night on Wincustomize and they aren't showing in my screen saver properties.

This one: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=678&libid=40 and also this one:http://ausvet.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=774&libid=40

In the moon river one I dragged the icon to the desktop from the .zip and right-clicked, the hit 'install'. In the 2nd screen saver I followed the directions but once again they are not showing up.

Anyone know why this could be?

First, It is a good idea to put a little info about the computer which you installed the screen saver on, ie, operating system, memory, CPU, etc.

Secondly, try the suggestions at this link, it does clear up confusion as to where a screen saver is installed,          https://forums.wincustomize.com/139179

You can also search your computer for the .scr file.

I hope these work, let me know how you make out.

Both made by ScreenSaver Factory so have installer which during it asks where you want the *.scr file installed to but the default is the main OS windows directory, the system32 directory inside that is better.

Either search for *.scr to reveal where the files are or Uninstall via control panel then re-install to inside the windows\system32 directory (=folder).

Latterly I just create the scr files to avoid the extra stuff written into the registry by installers - with these just drag/drop the SCR file inside the system32 folder to get them to show up in ScreenSaver lists.

Occasionally some antivirus\malware mark SCR files as untrustworthy so you could check that avenue as well. Hope this helps.

Most SCR files will run from wherever you put them, I normally download to the desktop, then unzip it there and do test run from there before moving it to the windows\system32 after verifying I want to keep it.
