Leo skin:

Hi!

Where do I find the Leo skin as referenced by Island Dog here:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/islanddog/1028711236/

I read somewhere it was included in the WB distribution, but I cannot find it neither locally or at the incredibly messy WinCustomize site :)

Det må være et andet site du kigger på... alt her er vel organiseret ;P

(English: It must be another site you're looking at... everyting here is well organized)

Grin. Talk about bite the hand that feeds you :)

The skin browser would be great but only for paying customers, should really be included in the Object Desktop membership. Comparing to how fairly easy it is to get new 'skins' to Gnome/KDE apps and TuneUp Winstyler it would be great if one didn't have to step throgh 556 pages with 9 skins on each. But nevermind.

I use WindowBlinds 7 beta. Once installed it only showed Windows w/o aero and the aero theme. Had some trouble with the installation though, so I'll try to reinstall.

Nope, just re-installed. No Leo skin. Can I get this on WinCustomize? Tried searching though. Url anyone?

In the WB config, please click 'About Windowblinds', and copy & paste the text in here.

Everything looks ok, so I would suggest that you contact [email protected]
Your installation must be borked somehow.

Daniel do you see this configuration page

use the scroll bar at the bottom to scroll over to where you should see Leo - same with this new interface here

there is a kind of hidden scroll bar here on this page at the bottom under the previews

also if you are seeing this page here to get your info as you presented here in this forum earlier I can not see other than you are just not looking completely at the interface correctly to use it. as seen here - do you also see this screen correctly...

or this screen when in the new interface with the about windowblinds tab is pressed...

Also download and look here at this small video of how to use the config page for new interface...

LINK   This opens with win media player...

good luck and let us know?

Thank you for your time, but the skins I see (before adding any) is shown here:

and the same goes for the new interface.
I have tried to have the program Rebuild the list, but that didn't help.

It was because of corrupt settings in my registry. Somehow the Common Documents folder link (%PUBLIC%\Documents) referenced to a non-existant folder. I changed it and some new Stardock skins showed up :). Happy now :-)

@Stardock: Shouldn't the installer check for non-accessible folders and/or put skins elsewhere or prompt where?

did you keep you skins in a different folder other than the default one?

At the beginning I traced WB to miss a \Documents folder, when I created this in the root of my drive the skins.nbd and *.cat files where created and UI folder. I could now get skins from WinCustomize and install them .. but still missed the ones shipped with the product. Now I have a working app. and skins that make me happy and with Win7 coming soon, I'll wait to remove the beta and install the final Win7. I reckon the WB will function normally then :)

Hope this at least helps someone else :)
