I don't understand the need for this channel?
Quick and easy way to be sure they are not getting any noobs in their games. Good way to organize and balance teams before hosting. No harm.
I'm not sure i qualify as pro, in fact im near damn certain i don't, but iv'e been looking forward to playing with and against Pacov and a few others here on the forums so i'll check it out.
some people are getting games going amongst each other (premade v premade)... but really good people v good people.
Neilo - I'm cool w us playing together or against. Don't leave next time as soon as we get a full lobby though ![]()
Its not a bunch of jerks saying they are awesome. Its a bunch of good players splitting up to fight against each other.
All tha said... I haven't played with these guys via the channel yet... but its a good idea, imo.
Yeah...time was against me at that point...would not have ben fair to you all to start the game when i knew i only had about 30 mins.....never know about the length of some games....i've seen more than a few 70 minute games go round.

its a way to organise games, keeping out retarded players who cant hold their own in-game.
Then call it nerdsauce instead of prosauce ![]()
Pro players only club, obviously.
They can call it WillyWonkasChocoFudge for all anyone cares, it'll still serve its purpose. I think it's a good stand-in solution before the team features are patched in.
#demigodgame is the best stand-in solution.
If the number of people organising games through the main channel is small, that would work. If however, there are many players trying to arrange games with each other, a "dedicated" channel would no doubt be more organised. A dedicated channel would also help filter off all the background chatter, since those who join such a channel would do so knowing that whoever's in there are all ready to play and ought to be looking for a reasonable challenge.
Just saying #demigodgame is the default Demigod channel. Most people are going to be there.
I've never seen the #demigodgame channel that lively. The #demigod-live channel was the same concept, and suffered from lack of traffic. I like the idea, but I don't think that there are enough players that chat at any one time to make it a worthwhile time investment. Once the ready to play thing gets going, that will probably be our main solution.
ya until they get the team match up and running, this has been working pretty well the last few days. thanks for coming in everyone ive enjoyed the games.
