WindowBlinds build 191 doing .. nothing :)

Hi all!

I'm trying to skin my Win7 RC with WB7 Beta .. so I guess it should go wrong.

I've been through disappearing icons, Fences somehow not working - then suddenly doing fine, insanely looking for the Leo skin which should be included in WindowBlinds, downloading all sorts of suppose-to work in Win7 skins, but to no avail. Skins do not turn up in WindowBlinds, although I have tried rebuilding the index/cache of Impulse and WindowBlinds. I do import them to WB.

Wow, never seen that before. Try removing WindowBlinds completely with the following removal tool:

http://sd.stardock.com/mike/apps/odnt_zapper.exe

This app will need to be run as admin in Windows Vista/7.  Once you do this, you can reboot and reinstall.

Thanks. Removed application completely and installed again. Rebooted in between. Sadly still the same.

Got the CarbonFibre skin, which is supposed to work in Win7 and imported it into WB7, but nothing shows up. A popup message tell me a new skin is available and all the files from the *.wba set has been extracted in the folder where I kept the file. Shouldn't it extract the files elsewhere? Also whenever I click something - it opens my browser with the manual page of WB6. Very annoying :)

Other ideas?
