WB needs to be uninstalled, question....

8(|   Quest WB is corrupted and unable to use.  Now this is only one blind out of hundreds with a problem and I am determined to fix it.  :blush:    My Colors Quest....all other components work fine IP etc.  Support has directed me to uninstall WB and My Colors and reinstall.

I should uninstall both through Impulse?

WB has 2 folders (OS is XP)  Main one is Shared Documents/Stardock/Window Blinds.  The other (seems to only contain my purchased Essorant WB skin pack blinds) located Program Files/Stardock/Object Desktop/Window Blinds.  Does this matter??

This I should know....  I have backed up all WB skin folders but want to know if I will lose, through the uninstall, the WB folders in the Shared Docs/Stardock/Window Blinds location

I mostly uninstall WB then install a newer version when it comes out

My skins are usually still there

 

the shared documents folder is where skins started going to a while back due to the way vista looks at things

it just puts the skins there to be available to all accounts

 

but if you already backed up your skins, you got not worries.. no?
