How to install a desktop WBA file?

I'm new here, and to the world of desktop costomization. I just purchased the featured Havana desktop. I downloaded and unzziped the file - several times. I even have a serial number for it. But nothing will run that small WBA file.

By the way I also have Impulse, I asked for a registration number but was given none. Impulse is a free app. Am I missing so mething?

Did you use Impulse to install Windowblinds? If you don´t have that installed you won´t be able to open any wba. files.

Impulse is a download/installer/uninstaller/browser etc used to download and install various applications and games

One of those applications is the program Windowblinds

Windowblinds is needed to use Windowblind skins (Havana is one)

Once you have Window Blinds installed, then all you have to do is click "Download" on any blind skin in the gallery and it will automatically install, or if you have a .wba file already downloaded to your HDD, all you do is double click it and it will install.

Thank you all. You have been very helpful. As I said, I'm new to this field, or hobby, or whatever you call it.

Because I entered the site via WinCustomize.com, I never got any novice introduction. I thought $4.95 for customizing my desktop was a little cheap. Now I know - $30 is more like it. :-)

I'm sure I'll be back as I begin to pickup this skill.

Skinning your computer is fun,but a warning....It is very addictive. $20 for a program that does everything that WindowBlinds does is a bargain,imo. Have fun and if you have questions or need help WC is a great place to get both.:)
