hey for some reason the ctrl + key cheats aren't working anymore did they remove them?

check to make sure that your start file has the extension cheat after it.  that is the only thing that i can think of.  or does your ctrl key work?

You need to use a shortcut to the specific expansion your using... put that shortcut on your desktop. Right click the shortcut and click properties. On the target line at the end it should read CHEAT so add that part. In the end the target line should read like ****  "C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\Twilight\GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe" CHEAT ****

even for just the new game selection? What about for the Ultimate Edition? they dont seem to work for me. This is what i have "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\GalCiv2Ultimate\GC2Launch.exe" cheat

Xenoti...it indeed works in UE.  You need to specify DL, DA or TA with a shortcut (see Syanis post).

My path for DA is:  "C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Galactic Civilizations II - Ultimate Edition\DarkAvatar\GC2DarkAvatar.exe" cheat
