Custom map

I poked around some on the modding forums, didn't see anything in the FAQ's about my problem, but that seems a bit more advanced of a category than this question is. I created a map using Galaxy Forge3, I can get the map to appear in normal Sins, but not Entrenchment... I've made sure it's in the Entrenchment--> Galaxy folder along all the other maps, but still have no luck getting it to appear in the menu, I also put it into the Galaxy forge folder, also with no luck.. any suggestions on what I'm missing?

assuming you have sins 1.17/entrenchment 1.03,  the galaxy forge maps NEED to be placed here for xp
C:\Documents and Settings\'user name'\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge

or here for vista/windows 7
C:\Users\'user name'\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\GalaxyForge.

for sins versions earlier than 1.16/entrenchment 1.02 the correct location for galaxyforge maps IS the program files\galaxy folder, but to get hte maps to show in the earlier entrenchment you also NEED to edit the entrenchment's galaxy.manifest to include the name of the map(s) you want to use and ALSO alter the count of maps at the top of the galaxy.manifest which can be editied in notepad or with my galaxy.manifest manager that I wrote for sins1.15/entrenchment 1.01 and is in my moddint utilities pack.

NOTE the first two folders after the 'user name' are hidden , so to see them you must first click on 'tools' then 'folder options', then 'view', then click on 'show hidden files& folders' then click ok, then you will be able to browse your want to the folder. I suggest when you find the folder that you create a shortcut to it on the desktop

NOTE 2 the 'user name' if the above paths is you WINDOWS log in user name, eg Administrator

also the galaxy forge maps only show up in the galaxy forge tab of map types

and if a map you want to play was released before 25th feb 2009 then you will also neet the sins map updater from here
