Sins registration help

So i bought sins of a solar empire a while ago, and i decided today to instal impulse and get the updates and the expansion. I bought the expansion but i cant play the game because i never registered sins and i dont know where the registration code is. How can i get the registration code or play the expansion without it? or my money back or something cause i bought it and now cant play

the reg code is on a sticker inside the retail box.  if you bought via impulse, then you can retrieve the code from the impulse lightning bolt button adn then go to register product. 

if those options dont work, then i think there is a utility that gets installed that will display the code.
