& all drivers up todate.i cant figure out how to get sound,the game works great i just get no sound,
im useing a Gigabyte Mother-board,9600 phenom quad four, radeoen hd 4870 sapphire PCI-e,Sony DVD,Realtek audio on-board sound,on Windows Xp pro 32 bit i also have 64 bit and game wouldnt work , so i switched HD;d and installed 32 bit.

save the file, run it, and attach the log file (named startup.log) it generates on the desktop to a return e-mail? Can you also please go to Start->Run(or Start Search in Vista) and type 'dxdiag' and hit enter. Once everything loads, please click the "Save all information" button and attach the output file (called DxDiag.txt) in an email to [email protected].
I will do the same thing Dash. Since 1.1, the sound cuts out every minute or two, and that's on both my computers (which are very different). Also, Sim Speed dropped dramatically since 1.1 unless I play with /nosound.
I have a similar problem, except its not all my audio just the sound effects. Music, voices, and announcer are all fine but during gameplay itself no sounds play at all. Just got the game today. I will send the above to the email as well but I was wondering if anyonelse had this problem?
I remember having this problem when the game first came out... was hoping by now it woulda been fixed ><
