Can't get WindowBlinds 7

I tried to update to the prerelease version of WindowBlinds 7 but Impulse won't let me do it. When I do prerelease it seems to point to a registration from a previous year but I just renewed last week. All other installs seem to work fine but just not the one most important to me since I am now only working with Win 7 and I having huge withdrawal symptoms without my WB.

Anybody have a suggestion, please!!!

Probably best to email [email protected] and initiate a trouble ticket.

did you check show pre release in Impulse?

did you reset data in Impulse?  I had to do it 4 or 5 times for 7 to show up

Click the Impulse 'orb' in the top left hand corner, and it's right there.

I cannot get the new beta to show up in Impulse, before you tell to check preferences I already I have checked show pre release show alpha beta. My old version of Windows Blinds 7, The new just released version it not showing up and Yes I am a up todate subscriber to object desktop plus

I have uninstalled and re-installed this did not work either

This is something we're looking into internally, and can be caused by a few things.  The most common fix is to reset data in Impulse.  If this does not work for you, you can try shift-clicking on the help orb in the upper right of the Impulse UI. This will now show the option to show the Public XMLs folder.  Select this option, and in the folder fine the file "odntbasic.xml" and delete it. Once you do this, close this window, and back in Impulse hit the F5 key.  If all this fails, please e-mail [email protected].

Also, please keep in mind this only affects the beta versions.  You will not encounter this with the full, production versions.  I would suggest if you are looking to stay away from glitches, that you not use the beta software.

Hello,

same problems here

i do all tricks (if we can say so) but impossible to see the windowblind 7 version on Impulse

Strange, fresh install of Seven (so i figure out there are no incompatibility)

Btw, during the process of reseting the data

i quit impulse, i relaunch it, it's say 'there are an update'

i do the update after that the soft relaunch itseft i saw the windowblind 7 choice on Impulse

Impulse connect with my account and Windowblind 7 choice disapear

(of course im ObjectDesktop subscriber)

Any idea ???

El_buracho2: If you're seeing this, deleting that odntbasic.xml file should fix it.  Just don't reset data after deleting the file.

I reset 4 times now, got impulse update OD subscriber and still get the registration error when trying to get an update.  This is pretty upsetting having a subscription and nothing works for W7 -

just try to reset your data

don't close impulse and don't do the update (of impulse)

let impulse connect with your account

windowblind 7 appears do the install

and after that do the update of impulse

works for me in that way

(sorry for english)
