I met Rowan Atkinson to the F1 GP in Adelaide years ago....he was a driver in the Celebrity race...;)
Strangely, after he spoke to me and continued on his way back to the pits [he'd pranged] the other officials came over to me and asked "who was that?"
Philistines....;p
This same man played both Mr Bean AND Black Adder...two so completely different characters that as you are watching one,you almost forget he did the other. 
my favourite skit is the one where he's sitting in the front church pew...trying to stay awake....being noisy with the lolly wrapper and the tissue in this pocket...can just feel his pain....
I still have my seventies book of Not The Nine O'Clock News....
My fav was the one where he was remodeling his flat with a gallon of paint and fireworks left over from some celebration.
Mythbusters actually tried that...the explosive application of paint. 
...My favorite was when he was going on vacation and was trying to put his clothes in a suitcase, a rather small cardboard one. Anyway, try as he might, his long pants would not fit, he ended up cutting them off. I thought I would split a gasket I laughed so hard!!
