Single player suddenly crashing today

Ever since the windows Vista update since last night, if I try to play single player vs AI on Cataract, I get the loading screen but underneath Cataract it says "no text". About 15 seconds later the combat UI loads on top of the load screen, with no mouse or active buttons. Nothing happens. At this point I have to Alt/ctl/Del my way out.

I had this happen once with a multiplayer game today as well. But I played another one without any problem.

Same thing happened on single player on Leviathan. I waited 5 minutes and nothing was happening. Task Manager showed Demigod was "running".

If you're getting [no text] on lobby or load screens, try deleting your Game.prefs file from My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.
