Patch freezes

I re-installed Demigod and everytime I try to patch it, it freezes at 14.5%, goes into retrying for 10min and then I get an error message.
Then I tried to re-install Impulse, but that changed nothing.
My firewall is down and that also changed nothing.

Anyone got an idea beside quitting Demigod altogether.
