Stats Problem

Last night I played a game against an opponent who it appeard disconnected from me.  However when I went and looked at my stats it said I had a loss and a disconnect with my total losses as two.  What was stranger though is that it gave me progress towards my wins as Oak each achievements too.  Since I was clearly winning a fortress game (the other player on both our teams had dropped earlier) I was kind of annoyed.  So I'm really not sure if I won that game or not.  Also I've bought the same favor item two games in a row and it hasn't stuck.  I was running under the assumption that those items were supposed to carry from game to game?  Is that incorrect?
