Nobody likes generals because minions don't attack what you tell them to. They mill about and attack whatever crap is around what you clicked.
I havent really tried the minion build on Eberus so i cant vouch for this being the way to go. But his main eberus build was the one i used to get an idea of how to play eberus and i got up to the 4th rank so i think its probably worth a read and a look
Actually I played an excellent General Oak yesterday, he was all about minions and showed some excellent minion control using enormous waves of spirits and Horn of whatever to tear towers, buildings and structures apart.
