Ingame PM/Message System Malfunctioning as of 06/22/2009

This might be an impulse issue, but PMs through the friendlist are all jacked up, making it *very* difficult to communicate with friends.

A)It shows the wrong person "chatting with" at the top.

B)Many time messages aren't received at all.

C)All messages prior to this bug are *gone* completely.

D)Any message you receive is stored in each friends list chat history making it hard to tell who sent what message.

Any idea when this will be fixed?

The ingame pm/friends list was meant to be for Elemental which is release next year.   So probably it'll get fix next year 2010.

Avoid using it for now.

The first test release of Elemental is slated to be within the next few weeks, and AFAIK we're planning to start with mutliplayer right off the bat (more time for Brad to work on the AI). So I wouldn't necessarily jump to assume further Reactor development is that far off.

If you can give more details it may help pin this down, ex., who to/from, when sent, etc.

man i know, Im stuck with pugs cuz my nubby friends wont get in vent and im stuck dying with the scrubs :pout: plz fix! just starting having issues past few days

Kryo, all messages prior to 06/22/2009 are gone in all my chat histories from all friends.

All new messages are merged in *EVERY* friendlist chat history. As in it doesnt matter who sent the message, its duplicated in all chat histories.

Currently it says "chatting with fastoa" (might got the spelling wrong) in all PM/Chat thingies.

However if I check a history it'll correctly show if a message is from the original sender (SomeFriend says: "whatever").

If I check the duplicate messages in another chat history it just says "You said: "whatever".

Also it no longer shows a popup when someone sends a message. Not that it regularly ever did to begin with, but now it never does at all.
