Update crash

hello

Just purchased the game today

i get into the game fine can play single all fine, however, i press multiplay/internet combo it says i need an update, sure thats fine by me i say to myself then the game just closes itself

i try again and same thing happen but now impluse is working so i think oh that was quick ;D so i try for online play again and the same thing happens again (have tried this several times now)

i am typing this on the same pc ! so my net connection is aok

any ideas or locations of secondary patch sites that i can dl manually would be most helpful

When you opt to update and the game closes, Impulse is supposed to open on its own. If it doesn't just run it manually from the start menu and Demigod should appear on the upates tab if there is one available.
