Demigod won't begin

       I'm completely lost and have no clue. I put the Demigod CD in my computer, and... I wait... I wait... I wait. Nothing happens. It vibrates like it's going to start, but then stops. Then I try to manually go through the D drive in My Documents, but when I click on it, it says "Please insert disk in Drive D" So i took it back to get a new one thinking I just recieved a bad one, but it did the same thing! It looks really great and I really want to play the game, but it won't start up =(

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

You mean "My Computer" right?

You can use Impulse to download and install demigod without the CD.  All you need is the serial.  You can get it here:  http://www.impulsedriven.com/impulse_setup_full.exe

Might you only have a CD drive? Because the Demigod disc is a DVD, not a CD. That'd explain not being able to read it at all.
