No visual for ring of fire or teleport on low settings

I'm playing the demigod on lowest possible settings, (except refresh rate at 70), and at that detail level there isn't ANY indication when somebody is about to teleport. Nor do I see the circle of fire. (Only by taking damage can I guess that I'm now standing in one).

Got GeForce 6800 GT

LOL so buy better gear. Sorry to be a pain, but it really sucks when people with junk lag a game..... how could you complain when it's your own fault for having junk?

The game works really well with my configuration. I'm having no problems in the performance department. I simply reported a bug/nonfunctional feature.

(Originally had 3200+ and 1G memory, 9800Pro with 128Megs of memory. Game did not work.  Games were total slideshows, didn't even bother trying online. Then I got my brothers old computer. 3500+, 2g memory, 6800 GT with 256MB. The game works fine now.)

You should get an ATI 4770.

IT is an excellent cheap PCI express graphics card. Costs about $150 australian (that's around $117 US dollars).

A Geforce 6800 may work fine, that's because your settings are turned down. If you want the pretty visuals you won't get them AND performance unless you upgrade.

here's where I get my card:

Displaying any type of complex particles(like the tp or RoF effects) would slow the game to a halt on a min spec system like that. That is why they are disabled on low, along with a hundred other particle effects which are disabled or toned down dramatically throughout the game on low quality. Erebus' Mist, the effect from Rook's hammer, and QoT's thorns are some other ones I bet you don't see on low either.

As far as I can tell, all of the effects in demigod are particles and there are no simple decals for the game to display in lieu of the particle effects. This would explain why the most complex effects are just simply not displayed on low at all. I kinda doubt that GPG will be implimenting decals or some other such low-quality aternative to the these effects for the min-spec crowd, but then again, I may be wrong.

Your card is four generations behind current gen and is listed as the bare minimum to play the game at all. Surely you don't expect that they can make something happen using your card that it is not even capable of... Technically, your card can handle them, but it'll probably be a slidshow since the card only has 16 stream processors compared to a current gen card like the GTX280 which has 240 SPs. You're not just behind the times, you're getting buried by them.

Then don't make the teleport signal that complex. Replace the complex teleport announcement with something very simple on low details.

Anyway, this is what I'm hoping for, in a few patches.

I play on minimum graphics (and nosound, incidentally) and I see teleport graphics, a small blue circle under the spot where the demigod is teleporting to/away from. Is this missing on your screen or are you simply not identifying it as teleport. Circle of fire appears perfectly fine as a ring of fire, looks much the same as it does on my friends computer (who plays high graphics). Either I'm missing some sort of super-ultra-low graphics setting (doubtful, I've been over that screen a couple of times to make sure everything is minimized) or it's a bug with your particular settings.

I have this same problem on high settings. My video card is a GeForce 7800 GTX.

Ah, interesting. Yes, it is completely missing, just like the ring of fire is missing. When I perform the ring of fire, the torchbearer just moves the staff over his head, but nothing happens. Enemies start taking damage, but I don't see any ring, no indication whatsoever. And same with teleport, there is nothing that would indicate a teleporting enemy. (Actually I have learned to listen, as you can hear the teleport sound.)
