any ideas why?
around the corners of my frames I am getting some reflection over lighter backgrounds, could this be because of the shadow or some other setting?

Are you using magic pink?
It looke like the background layer.
using magic pink on the uis2 frames and alpha on the per pixel frames (and it only shows on lighter backgrounds)
background layer is black.
oh, and on vista 64bit
Check the settings on your UIS2 frames. I haven't been skining for months so I am a bit behind and going on a aging memeory but those windows normally use the UIS2 frames.
Cause Vista sucks and I lost my XP disc. I was excited for WB for Win 7 so I could skin again but apparently SKS isn't ready for Win 7 and besides WB skins IE8 half assed so I'll check back in afew months to see if they have improved it.
Doc has a copy of my so called master skin that I never finished if anyone wants to finish and post it, Just contact him and leave me out of it.
Consider permission granted. The title bar buttons need to be redone. The ones I had temporarly done stink. Peeee yoooooooo. It works pretty darn well with Win 7 also. I uninstalled Wb and impulse so that's why I'll be out of the loop. I would hate to see the skin go to waste. ![]()
in pp frames in extras, check your blur round edge value...you might have to adjust it.......... just a theory though...
make sure you are saving your majik pink as 24bits not 32.......
thats the only 2 things i could think of that it MIGHT be..
This is one that I've never heard before but will reduce the color palate down to see what happens. any idea why?
RE-EDIT: check my setting and I'm maxed out at 24bit, no 32bit available (paintshoppro7), did the blur thing and while it seemed to help in sks6 presentation I'm still having the issue over lighter sections of whatever might be below it.
thanks for the response, will do some other checking with settings.
Make sure your pink is exactly 255-0-255. I have seen many times where someone had the pink just a tad off or it had a slight transparency. Since it is turning white it is a transparency setting or the image is a bit off.
