Please Help

For whatever reason the game continually stops responding and I have to cntrl-alt-delete and end the task. I really try to play the game, love it. But even overlooking the connection issues this not responding issue and the exceptions that make you restart I can't get even a single player game.

I really need help with the not responding, just post here because I'll be checking routinely considering I can't be playing at the moment.

At what point does it stop responding? Is there any error message or log window that appears?

Also happens right when I click start game in both single player and multiplayer however freezes before load screen starts

Do you see [no text] on any screens when it hangs? If so, try deleting your game.prefs file. If it hangs when you try to access the online parts though, there could be a connectivity issue.

No it isn't the exception, it just stops responding. I had the no text issue a while ago and deleted the file and now it works fine that way but the not responding will happen randomly Like 6 times in a row and after that I stop trying and later it will work. Also, when it is happening it occurs when ?I hit single player, multiplayer, and a few other buttons in the menus so it isn't connectivity.
