DemiGod stops responding at login

Ok, so this problem has become severe enough that I feel it is time to make it known. For quite some time, myself and my friend, on completely different computers and ISPs are having an issue of Demigod not responding after a disconnect.

So here's the most recent scenario;

We are playing a game of demigod, all is great, we get towards the end of the game. One of the players quits, the game hangs for 3-4 minutes, until we both end up having to control alt delete. Now we star tup Demigod again and as soon as we click internet, Demigod just hangs and stops responding.

It is becoming quite troublesome and frankly it is killing the game for us. If any urther details are needed I would be happy to add them.

In my experiences there are a lot of issues with the connection screens, any of them are quite liable to become stuck.

 

However, sometimes the loading screens just take an extremely long time as well, (in excess of five minutes.)

I hear ya.. 

but the problem I am describing is resulting from some sort of spike or glitch during a disconnect, leading me to be unable to login for anywhere from 3 - 10 minutes.
