The same happens to me when I change the font size (dpi) under 'appearance' in windows. If You set it bigger than the standard 96 dpi, the standard Vista buttons appear. Old WB problem. As my XPS laptop has 1920 resolution, I have to set the fonts bigger, so this is quite normal to me there.

But its not happening in other skins apparently.. :-|

I'd suggest the person update through Impulse....then get the sysinfo again. ;) If he/she can't update thru Impulse, might mean something...

Hope the rain stopped.

He could have had luck with the leo skin as it uses only slightly changed Vista standard buttons. I suppose, they are the same size as the original ones...

If it helps, mine is newer than that.

I sure you've asked but, do they have "show pre-released checked"?

Haven't picked up your WB yet so I can't comment on that part.

Naked works perfectly with my version, v.

I'm going to agree it is a dpi issue.

It will cause these problems. Never know without duplicating the issue on another machine.

I picked it up and I seem to have a problem with both vista versions. XP version is fine.

Edit: I'm running the default 96 DPI for font size

I really like the skin, my complements. If you need a tester while fixing it, let me know.

Vista

XP

How does Doc have all 2009 dates when the one's shown above still have a 2008 date?

I smell something fishy *_*

You show two screenshots, one saying Vista and one saying XP, yet the XP screenshot looks exactly like Vista.  Are you sure those are right CarGuy1?  :S

Lightstar, there's a missing shut down button on the Vista SS.

Since the original post mentioned a problem with the logoff buttons in Vista, I didn't see the need to point it out.

 I know that CarGuy1, I meant the screenshot that you have listed as XP appears to be a Vista screenshot also.

Funny, I just checked my 32-bit XP Home, and ALL the dates on ALL the files for WB are March 24, 2009, something is really weird here.  Seems like WB cannot update itself correctly.  ;P

That's not where the fishy smell is coming from.

Not really, the 2 OSes in question before were Vista x64 and x86..... your sys info is for XP and therefore is likely to be different again.  Still, it doesn't explain why there are 2008 dates in any OS when WB has received a few updates in 09.  One would think that all the important files had been updated and thus would carry an 09 date... but what would I know, am and pm confuses me... and most Sundays are actually Mondays or Tuesdays.

Any racing/stock market or sporting event results you want to share with your mates?

Doesnt make any sense to me... how can a WB work fine on dozens of pc's, including my own.. and be screwed up on a few.

Maybe Neil will pop in with some insight.-_-
